About the site »

Inauspicious.org was launched on Valentine's day 2001 as a permanent home for my PhD thesis, which was then, as now, unwritten: I never did finish it, although I emitted couple of papers on the way. The site became a dumping ground for all the crap that I previously had scattered all over the web, which later came to include the diary from my Advogato page. Almost as soon as I'd finished migrating it here I realised that I'd actually grown somewhat tired of Advogato so I moved it to Steganopolis, that most secretive of Virgule sites. I moved it a couple more times after that, but I eventually grew tired of my friends reading it instead of talking to me so its metaphorical plug got pulled.

As for the rest of the site, well, I occasionally upload new photos and files but the rest of it is pretty much dead.
